📝 Overview

Integrating your Yoom database with Looker allows you to freely aggregate, analyze, and visualize data directly with Looker.

🛠 How to Set Up

STEP 1: Generate a Looker Token in Yoom

Log in to Yoom and navigate to “Settings > Looker Integration” from the side menu.

Click "+ Add Token" to generate your unique integration token.

Copy the token.

⭐️ Important Notes:

  • The token is displayed only once. Please make sure to copy and keep it secure.

  • Treat the token like a password and do not share it with others.

STEP 2: Authorize Connection in Looker

Sign in with your Google account and go to the Looker Integration Page.

Click "Authorize" and follow the instructions in the Google authentication page to select your account and grant access.

A form will appear asking for your "Token", "Database ID", and "Table ID".

STEP 3: Enter Database and Table IDs

You can find the Database ID and Table ID from the Yoom's database URL.

  • Database ID: The value represented by XXX.

    /dynamic_databases/XXX/dynamic_tables/YYY/dynamic_table_views/ZZZ

  • Table ID: The value represented by YYY.

    /dynamic_databases/XXX/dynamic_tables/YYY/dunamic_table_views/ZZZ

    📍Example:
    If your database’s URL is:

    https://yoom.fun/abcde/dynamic_databases/7510/dynamic_tables/16092/dynamic_table_views/13990

    Then,

    • Database ID = 7510

    • Table ID = 16092

STEP 4: Finalize the Connection

Enter the token you copied from Yoom, and the Database and Table IDs into the Looker form.

Click the “Connect” button at the top right corner of the screen.

That's it! 🎉

Now your Yoom database is connected with Looker!
