📝 Overview

Both Slack and Chatwork, allow you to customize message formatting, such as bolding text, adding code blocks, and using emojis (Slack only).

This guide introduces markup techniques for formatting messages efficiently in each tool.


💬 Slack Formatting & Emoji Usage

🔹Convert Text Formatting

  • Bold*text*text

  • Italics_text_text

  • Strikethrough~text~ → t̶e̶x̶t̶

🔹 Code & Quote Formatting

  • Inline Code`text` text

  • Block quote → > text

  • Code Block → ```text```

    text

🔹 Send Emojis

You can send emojis using the format :emoji_name: .

  • Example:

    • :smile: → 😄

    • :thumbsup: → 👍

    • :rocket: → 🚀

💬 Chatwork Formatting

🔹Text Formatting

  • Insert a horizontal line → [hr]

  • Framed box → [info]text[/info]

  • Titled framed box → [info][title]Title[/title] Body[/info]

  • Code block → [code]text[/code]
