📝 Overview

Yoom’s Chrome extension allows you to trigger Flowbots directly from supported apps, eliminating the need to manually access Yoom.

☝️ Note:

The Chrome extension can only be used by users who have access to the Yoom workspace.

🧐 What is the Chrome Extension?

A Chrome extension is a tool that enhances the Google Chrome browser with extra features.

With Yoom's Chrome extension, you can:

✔️ Launch Flowbots directly from specific apps (like Salesforce)
✔️ Skip manually accessing Yoom to run automation

📌 Example: Using the Chrome Extension with Salesforce

  1. Open the target record in Salesforce.

  2. Trigger a Flowbot directly from the record using the Chrome extension.

🛠️ How to Configure the Chrome Extension Trigger

1️⃣ Install the Chrome Extension

Click this link to install the Yoom Chrome extension.

Once installed, you don't need to configure it again unless you uninstall it.

2️⃣ Access the Chrome Extension Trigger

Create a new Flowbot and select Create from scratch.

3️⃣ Select the App to Use as a Trigger

A list of apps will appear.
Select the app you want to use to trigger the Flowbot.

4️⃣ Configure the Action When Launching from the Extension

Click the action field to launch from the extension and select the desired action.

☝️ Note:
If Yoom and the target app aren’t linked, you’ll need to register and link them as My Apps.

👉 For how to link each app, check out this guide.

5.Configure the Sample URL for the Launch Page

In the Sample Start Page URL field, enter the URL of the page you want to launch from the Chrome extension.

For example, if using Notion:

  • Access the target page in Notion.

  • Copy the URL and paste it into Yoom’s Sample Start Page URL field.

6.Perform a Test and Save Upon Success

Click Test to ensure everything works correctly.
If the test is successful, save the settings to complete the configuration.

By using the Chrome extension, you can also create Flowbots that, for example, notify chats with specified record information.

⚠️ Important Notes

If you have multiple Yoom workspaces under the same email address, you can switch between them by clicking the area highlighted in red in the extension settings.

🎉 That’s it!

You have successfully configured triggers using the Chrome extension.
