📝 Overview
Salesforce Outbound Messages allows you to send notifications to Yoom whenever an object or field in Salesforce is updated.
For example, you can trigger a Yoom Flowbot automatically when an Opportunity is marked as "Closed Won" in Salesforce.
🛠️ Configuration Method
1️⃣ Set up the Trigger Action
In Yoom, create a trigger action.
Select “When an outbound message is received".
Copy the Webhook URL that appears.
2️⃣ Open the Outbound Message Settings in Salesforce
Log in to Salesforce with administrator privileges and go to the setup page.
In the quick search bar, type “Outbound Messages”.
Under Process Automation > Workflow Actions, click "New Outbound Messages".
3️⃣ Select the Target Object
On the object selection page, choose the object that will trigger the outbound message.
Example: If you want to trigger a Yoom Flowbot when an Opportunity is closed won, select “Opportunity”.
4️⃣ Configure the Outbound Message Settings
On the Outbound Message settings screen, set up the following fields:
Name: Any name for reference (e.g., Yoom Notification).
Unique Name: A system-generated ID (must start with a letter, and use only letters, numbers, or underscores).
Description (optional): A brief explanation of the outbound message.
Endpoint URL: Paste the Webhook URL obtained from Yoom.
User to Send As: The user account that will send the message (e.g., an administrator).
Fields to Send: Select the Salesforce fields you want to send to Yoom.
5️⃣ Creating a New Flow
In Salesforce Setup, search for "Flow" in the Quick search bar.
Under Process Automation, click "New Flow” in the top right corner.
6️⃣ Configure the Flow Conditions
Click "Start" to begin.
Select the type of Flow: choose "Record-Triggered Flow".
Set the trigger conditions based on your requirements.
For example, to trigger the flow when an opportunity is Closed Won, then set the condition accordingly.
Click the + button under the trigger.
Select Action > Outbound Message.
Choose the Outbound Message you configured earlier.
Enter a Label and API Name (these can be any values you choose).
Click "Save" at the top-right.
Finally, click "Activate" to enable the flow.
Now, your Flow is active and will send Outbound Messages whenever the specified conditions are met 🚀
7️⃣ Test Launch on Yoom
After enabling the flow, perform the trigger action:
For example, update an Opportunity record to Closed Won in Salesforce.
Then in Yoom:
Click the Test button.
If the record information is received successfully, your setup is complete! 🎉
