How to Update Your Number on Your iOS Device

Update your Number on the iOS App

If you've changed your number recently and you have yet to update your number on your YouMail, you will need to update this information and reactivate your carrier's Conditional Call Forwarding.

Updating your number via the app is simple and easy. Follow the instructions below to update your number and activate:

Select Settings

  1. Open the app and tap the Menu icon in the top left-hand corner or swipe from the left side of the screen.

  2. Select the Settings icon (gear wheel) at the bottom left-hand corner.

Select Phone Line

  1. Scroll down to, and select Phone Lines.

  2. The numbers on your account should be visible from this page.

Edit or remove the number

  1. Select the Advanced option at the bottom to edit or remove the selected number.

  1. You should be redirected to the website where you will select either Edit or Remove. Edit the information as needed.

  1. If you're adding a new number, remove the existing number on the account and then select the + Add option.

  2. Once the number has been successfully added/edited, select the downward arrow beside Edit.

  3. Select the option Forward to YouMail and follow the steps in the prompt provided.

Once you've completed the steps above, your new number should be updated and activated or an old number should be removed from the account.
