How to Text from My Extra Line Via the iPhone App

Did you know you can send and receive text messages to and from your extra line number? This can only be done through the app but is very easy to do!

To start sending messages using your extra line number, please follow the steps below:

Access the dialer

  • From the YouMail app, please select the dialer on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

New Text

  • Select New Text.

Enter contact or number

  • At the top of the screen, you can type in your contact or manually enter the phone number. Then type out the message in the blank bar. Hit send when you're ready!

Access Message tab

  • You can access all Extra Line text messages from the Message tab seen at the bottom right corner of the app.

  • By selecting the blue floating action button on this page,

    you can also start a new text.
