YouMail Activation and Re-activation on the iPhone

If you need to activate or re-activate your missed calls to YouMail, just follow these simple steps.

Notes:

  • If you have Apple's Live Voicemail enabled, YouMail may still appear to be activated. However, calls will be handled by the Apple OS instead of the YouMail service if not disabled properly.

  • If you don't turn off Live Voicemail, YouMail will continue to block spam on incoming calls and texts and protect you from bad actors!

  • Open the YouMail app.

  • Sign in (if necessary).

  • From the inbox, tap the shield icon at the bottom.

  • Select Voicemail in the top-right corner.

  • Then, tap on Call Forwarding

  • If activating, select Verify Activation.

  • YouMail will verify your activation by placing a test call to your phone. Decline the test call once it comes through, otherwise YouMail will not be able to verify your activation.

  • Once verification is complete, a message will be left in your inbox.
