Automatically Protect Yourself from Known Spammers

Tap into YouMail's extensive Directory of known spammers by installing the YouMail app on your Android or iOS phone and enabling Call Protection. When enabled, calls from known spammers won't right through to your phone.

To enable Spam Call Protection:

  • Open the YouMail app

  • Tap the Protection (Shield) icon

  • Enable Spam Call Protection

Get 100% Protection from Robo Calls

If you're getting a lot of automated (aka robo) calls, you can also enable Call Screening for additional protection. When enabled, callers who are not on your Allow list or saved as a Contact are required to dial a randomly generated 2-digit code before they are allowed to ring through to your phone.

To enable Call Screening:

  • Open the YouMail app

  • Tap the Protection (Shield) icon

  • Enable Screen Unknown Callers

Manually Block Unwanted Callers

From Contacts (Android)

  • Open the YouMail app

  • Tap on Contacts

  • Tsp the contact you want to block

  • Tap on the 3 dots at the top right and select Block

  • If the call was SPAM, check the Report Spam box

  • Tap Confirm

From Contacts (iOS)

  • Open the YouMail app

  • Tap on the Contact icon

  • Locate and tap the contact you want to block

  • Select Block

  • Tap Confirm

From your Inbox (Android)

  • Open the YouMail app

  • Tap on Messages > Inbox

  • Tap the message from the number you wish to block

  • Tap the 3 dots at the top right and select Block

  • Tap Yes

From your Inbox (iOS)

  • Open the YouMail app

  • Tap on Messages > Inbox

  • Select the message from the number you wish to block

  • Tap the Spam button

  • Tap Report Spam

  • Enter comments (if desired)

  • Tap Mark as Spam
