How do I Change a Guardian's Session Price?

How to lower the price, or raise it back up after a discount, for an Adventure

Written by Mandycore the Manticore

How do I give a player a discount?

  1. Go to your Listings page → click on your Adventure → Players

  2. Click the three dots next to the guardian's name

  3. Click Change booking price

  4. Enter the new price (minimum $25) and click Save

The Change Booking Price field will let you change a player's price to as low as $25 and as high as their initial booking price. Raising the price above their initial booking price will require authorization from the player.

Note: This change affects all future sessions until you change it again.

How do I increase the price?

You can increase the price above their original booking rate, but this requires the guardian's approval.

  1. Go to your Listings page

  2. Click on your Adventure

  3. Click the Players tab

  4. Click the three dots next to the player's name

  5. Click Change booking price

  6. Enter the new price

  7. Click Save

The guardian will receive a request to approve the price increase. They must approve it before the new price takes effect.

Price increase requests expire after 14 days. If the player does not respond, their price stays at the original rate.

How do I restore the original rate after a discount?

If you've previously discounted the price and want to set it back to their original rate, use the same Change Booking Price flow:

  1. Go to your Listings page

  2. Click on your Adventure

  3. Click the Players tab

  4. Click the three dots next to the player's name

  5. Click Change booking price

  6. Enter the original rate

  7. Click Save

The updated rate will apply to all future sessions from that point forward.

If you discounted the price and forgot to restore it, the discounted rate will continue applying to all future sessions. The best way to recover the difference is to ask your player to submit a custom payment. See How do I Give a Custom Payment to my GM? for steps.
