We want to use this article to explain a little bit more about 'the driver score'.
The driver score is calculated by YourDriverApp based on the following criteria:
Past ratings from passengers received in last 365 days: the higher the rating, the better
Past ratings from operators received in last 365 days: the higher the rating, the better
Response performance: How long it took a driver to respond to previous job offers. The quicker the response, the better
In order to keep a healthy response rate, drivers have to ensure that they respond promptly and set their status to available only when they are actually available to accept jobs.
Drivers will be assigned the highest possible score when they accept a job offer within 3 seconds. If a driver is unable to accept a mandatory job offer, it is better to tap "Decline" rather than not responding at all. Drivers who don’t respond to mandatory job offers have the lowest driver scores.
Based on the above criteria, a driver score is created with a maximum of 5 points. The first job offer is sent to an available driver who meets proximity requirements and has the highest driver score. If no answer comes after 3 seconds, the next best-fit driver also receives the offer. That continues until either multiple group members have an offer, or one or more accepts.
