Unfortunately you can't work on two different devices with the same number at the same time.

Let's say for example you use an iPad and an iPhone, you can only be logged in on one device (mobile number) at a time.

Our advice

It is currently most convenient to work from one device, so either via your iPhone or via your iPad. If you still like to work with two devices, our advice is to use a different number for your iPad.
