Location services must be turned on for YourDriverApp in order to track your accurate location and report it to the platform. This is used for:
Showing your location to dispatchers so that you can be offered nearby jobs
Record your real time location when processing a job
Allow location also needs to be set to "Always" in order for the app to track your location using GPS while the app is running in the background. Without this permission, YourDriverApp would need to always be in the foreground in order to accurately capture your location. Keep in mind though, that we are only actively detecting your location when you have started a shift. If you are not on a shift, the app is not using your location.
