Submit your event to open to your region. (If Applicable)
5. If your event is intended to be opened to a regional audience, you can request approval while filling out the MRF. You can indicate this within the form. Once you submit the form, the CRCM team will be notified and will begin the approval process with your RD.
While this is in progress, you can continue setting up your event in Cvent and even open registration for your chapter audience.
If your event is approved, the CRCM team will handle the necessary updates behind the scenes so the regional audience can register as well.
Note: Chapter events can be opened to one region or one network, but not both. If you’re planning to share your event with a broader audience, choose the option that best supports your event goals. Keep in mind that selecting a network means your event won’t be eligible for regional approval, and you’ll need to coordinate directly with the networks. So be strategic when deciding which audience is the right fit.
Request Additional Features (If Needed)
6. You can request additional features to enhance your event, such as a Attendee Hub, or other add-ons. Please note that some of these features may come with additional costs that are not covered by YPO.
When selecting an optional feature in the MRF, be sure to read the description carefully. If a feature applies to your event, select it, and follow the instructions you'll receive via email to coordinate payment directly with Cvent.
Note: If you already have a merchant account set up for your chapter, there's no need to request a new one for each event. This feature allows you to collect event fees directly through Cvent.
Submit the Form
7. When you’re ready, click Submit at the bottom of the form. You’ll receive a confirmation email with a summary of the information you provided, along with a direct link to access Cvent and start setting up your event. If you prefer you can go to your events list on Cvent, click on the event name and set up the event.
