2. Once you’ve submitted the Chapter Event Creation Form (MRF), you have two options to access your event and begin the setup:

  • Option A: Click the hyperlink provided in the confirmation email you receive after submitting the MRF.

  • Option B: Log in to Cvent, go to your list of events, and click on the event title to open it.

Option B:

Click “Set Up Event”

3. Once you’re inside the event, make sure you’re on the Home tab in the top navigation menu. Then, click the “Set Up Event” button located in the upper-right corner of the screen.

This will open the setup wizard and allow you to begin choosing your template.

Choose the Right Event Template

4. Select the template that best fits the needs of your event. Review the available options and click on the template name to make your selection.

Each template is designed to support different event formats, so choose the one that aligns with your event goals.

Review Planner Info and Finalize Event Format

5. Verify the event planner information by entering the first name, last name, and selecting the email address from the dropdown menu.

Next, choose the correct event format by clicking on either In-Person, Virtual, or Hybrid, depending on your event type.

All other event details have already been imported from the MRF, so you can scroll to the bottom of the page and click Create Event to finalize the setup.

Start Working on Your Event

6. Your event has been successfully created! You can now begin customizing and managing your event as needed. Once everything is ready, you’ll be able to open registration for your chapter audience.

If you requested your event to be opened to a region in the MRF, and your event is approved, the CRCM team will connect with you and take care of the necessary updates behind the scenes to allow the regional audience to register as well.
