Chargeback Policy

YRM Prop takes chargebacks very seriously. They disrupt operations, delay payouts, and can lead to permanent account bans. Please read carefully before initiating a dispute.

What is a Chargeback?

A chargeback happens when you dispute a payment directly with your bank or credit card company instead of contacting YRM Prop.

  • This bypasses our support process.

  • It triggers immediate account restrictions.

  • It can result in permanent closure of your trading accounts.

Consequences of a Chargeback

Immediate Actions

  • All accounts linked to the disputed payment are suspended.

  • Platform access is revoked.

  • Pending payouts are frozen.

  • Trading cannot resume until the dispute is resolved.

If the Bank Upholds the Chargeback

  • All accounts are permanently closed.

  • All profits are forfeited.

  • The trader is banned from creating new accounts with YRM Prop.

Multiple Account Impact

  • A chargeback affects all accounts tied to the same payment method.

  • Even profitable accounts will be suspended until resolution.

Before Filing a Chargeback

Most billing issues can be resolved quickly if you contact us first. Common situations include:

  • Billing Questions → unexpected charges, subscription renewal dates, payment errors.

  • Account Issues → login problems, platform access issues, account status questions.

  • Dispute Resolution → concerns about rule violations, account closures, or evaluation results.

Legitimate Chargeback Situations

We understand chargebacks may be valid in limited cases, such as:

  • Unauthorized use of your card/payment method.

  • Technical billing errors (e.g., duplicate charges).

  • Services not delivered due to verified system failures.

Chargeback Prevention

To avoid unnecessary disputes:

  • Review billing statements regularly.

  • Track your subscription dates (shown in your dashboard).

  • Cancel accounts directly through your dashboard if no longer needed.

  • Update payment methods before expiration.

  • Contact support immediately for billing errors.

Resolution Process

When a chargeback is filed:

  1. Our payment processor notifies us.

  2. All associated accounts are suspended.

  3. YRM compiles transaction and account documentation.

  4. A formal response is filed with the bank/card issuer.

  5. The final decision rests with your bank.

Key Reminders

  • Starter accounts are billed on a monthly recurring basis until breached or passed.

  • If breached or passed, billing stops automatically.

  • Prime/Instant Prime accounts are one-time fees (no rebills).

  • Pending payouts are frozen until disputes are fully resolved.

Alternative Solutions

Instead of filing a chargeback, you can:

  • Request an account review if you disagree with a closure.

  • Ask about billing cycle adjustments.

  • Clarify payment schedules or fees with support.

  • Work with us to find a fair solution.

Bottom Line

Filing a chargeback without contacting us first:

  • Results in account suspension.

  • Risks permanent bans.

  • Freezes all payouts.

Most issues can be resolved quickly by emailing support@yrmprop.com. We’re here to help — and resolving issues directly preserves your account and payout opportunities.
