What is Health Assured by MetLife and how do I access it?

What is Health Assured by MetLife?

Health Assured provides a range of dedicated online and telephone services, which are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and answered by experienced in-house counsellors and legal and financial specialists.

If you have a Group Life Assurance policy with MetLife, the Health Assured service will include the below:

  • Up to 6 sessions of Bereavement Counselling, per employee, per year (via phone, video or secure chat)

  • Financial Wellbeing Information

  • Written resources for Musculoskeletal

  • Access to 4-week plans for Nutritionist, Fitness & Exercise, and Sleep

  • Website resources for stress reduction

If you have a Group Income Protection policy with MetLife, your access to Health Assured will include the above listed services, plus the below:

  • Up to 10 sessions of Emotional wellbeing counselling per year (via phone, video or secure chat)

How do I access Health Assured?

To access Health Assured, head to the main menu in the top left of YuLife and tap Wellbeing Hub, then select Health Assured. From here, you'll see your unique code and link to get started.

There are three ways to get started:

  • You can click on this link and sign-up via their website

  • You can call 0800 012 1473

  • You can download the Wisdom: Learn, Grow, Thrive App

All of these options require you to use the unique code to set up your account, so make sure you have it handy!

Can my family access Health Assured?

YuLifers are opted-in to Health Assured by their employer. This service is also available to the YuLifer's family members (partner or spouse, siblings, parents and legal dependants except those under the age of 16) who live in the same household as the policyholder. It is also available for any children or legal dependants aged 16-24 who do not live in the same household, but are living in the UK and are in full-time education.

For children under 16 years of age, Health Assured may be able to signpost you to more suitable services, as they cannot provide support for this age group.

How does my family access Health Assured?

For your family members to access the Health Assured service, they'll need to use your access code (found under Health Assured in your Wellbeing Hub in the YuLife app).

They can make use of the Wisdom app, live chat or telephone/video call service and signup via the same process as above:
