What happens to my credit file while I’m on a repayment plan?
We will tell the credit reference agencies that you are on a repayment plan for the whole time it is running. This can make it harder for you to get credit in the future.
Will interest and charges continue during the plan?
No. We will stop all interest and charges while the plan is active.
Can I still use my card during the plan?
No. You cannot use your card until the plan has fully ended.
What happens when the plan ends?
Your first payment after the plan may include any missed payments you still owe. Your account will keep showing missed payments until you have paid them off.
Will any interest still be added?
You may still need to pay interest that built up between your last statement and the day the plan was set up. This might show on your next statement.
What if I can’t afford the first payment after the plan ends?
