Excess mileage charges apply if the vehicle is returned before the end of the contract and the vehicle has exceeded the maximum permitted mileage at the point of when it’s returned.
The maximum permitted mileage is based on 10,000 miles per year. This is pro-rated for the period (e.g. if the vehicle was returned after 6 months the maximum mileage up to that point would be 5,000 miles).
A fee of 10p per mile is applied if the vehicle has exceeded the permitted mileage.
