I have been pre-approved for a card. What does this mean?

If you have applied for a card either through a third-party site or on our website, we may provide you with a 'pre-approved' offer.

This means that based on the information we have, we can approve a quote for you before proceeding with the application. However, applications are still subject to final verification checks, including validating your identity and affordability.

A pre-approval is not a guarantee that you will receive the card, but it enables us to provide a smoother journey for you when applying for a credit card.
