Can I Increase My Credit Limit (CLI)?

Currently, you can’t request a credit limit increase directly. We automatically review your account each month to check your eligibility for a higher limit. If you become eligible, we’ll let you know by email and SMS. If you have a Starter Card, you’ll be eligible for these reviews after 6 months.

  • Important: If you accept a credit limit increase, your account won’t be reviewed again for three months. If you don’t accept and the offer expires, your account will be reviewed again the following month.

  • You’ll see your current credit limit in the app once your card is activated.

  • A higher credit limit can help with day-to-day expenses and building your credit score, but it also means you could end up with a larger balance to repay, which may result in more interest.

What is a Credit Limit?

Your credit limit is the maximum amount you can borrow on your Zable card, including spending, cash withdrawals, charges, and interest.

Can I Decrease My Credit Limit?

Yes, you can reduce your credit limit at any time, as long as your new limit covers your current balance. Just send us a message through the Zable App with your preferred lower limit, and we’ll sort it out for you. Please note:

  • If you decrease your credit limit, you can’t request an increase later; we’ll only review your account as part of our regular monthly process.

  • Let us know if you’d like to be opted out of regular credit limit reviews.

How Do You Decide My Credit Limit?

When you apply, we use information from Experian and other sources to determine your starting limit. This helps us offer you a responsible credit line based on your circumstances.

Credit Limit Tracker

Check your eligibility for a credit limit increase with our tracker in the app. On the main screen, scroll down to 'Credit limit eligibility' to see if you’re on track. This guide offers tips to improve your chances, but it doesn’t guarantee an increase.
