Can I increase my credit limit?
At this time we don't offer credit limit increases on request. We review your account every month to check your eligibility for a higher credit limit and we’ll be in touch as and when this is something we can offer.
Please note that if you accept an offer to increase your credit limit, your account will not be reviewed for the next three months, as we can only increase the limit on your account once every three months. If you do not accept the offer and it expires, your account will be reviewed again the following month.
A higher credit limit can help with day-to-day expenses, emergency payments and potentially support in building your credit rating. It can also mean larger balances and additional interest to repay.
Where can I check my current limit?
You can view your current credit limit by clicking on the "more" tab in the mobile app here
What is a credit limit?
A credit limit is the maximum amount you can borrow on your Zable credit card at any time.
Your spending (including cash withdrawals) and any charges, interest or fees that we add must not exceed this credit limit.
Initially your credit limit will be between £200 and £1,500. You will be able to see your credit limit once you have activated your card.
Can I decrease my credit limit?
Yes, you can decrease your credit limit at any time. Your new credit limit will just need to be enough to cover your current balance, to ensure that you don’t go over your credit limit.
Send us a message through the Zable App letting us know your preferred lower credit limit, and we’ll sort that out for you.
Please note that if we reduce your credit limit, we cannot increase it again upon request in the future. We will review your account every month to see if we can offer a credit limit increase, however, please let us know if you would like us to opt you out of these reviews.
Why have you set my credit limit at this amount?
When you apply for a Zable card, we review several data points from our partnering credit reference agency Experian, and other sources, to understand what we are able to offer you.
