The person which creates an organisation will automatically become the first owner. 

It is possible to promote other members of an organisation to owner status as well. 

There needs to be at least one owner at all times, so if there is only one owner, this person cannot terminate their relationship with the organisation (except through deletion of the organisation itself) before appointing somebody else as new owner.
