Think of a connection as the bond of trust between your personal account (or an organisation) and an app.

Whenever an app is made available on the Zaikio platform, the developer of that app must tell us which pieces of your information they want to access. We won’t let them access anything until a connection between you and the app is made. During that process we will tell you which data this specific app wants to access, and you must concur or decline. 

If you concur the connection is made, and the app is allowed to access your data.
