With this feature, you can generate custom links that your customers can use to connect to your organization. This is useful, for example, if you are still in the beta phase and your organization is not yet available to everyone.
Procedure
You the feature by clicking on the invitations tab on the left side. The following page gives you an overview of all links that have already been sent.
You can generate a new link by clicking the New invitation button on the right. In the next step you can enter the customer relevant data.
Customer name: Here you can enter the name of the customer. The name does not have to be exactly the same as the actual name. For example, the GmbH can be omitted.
Customer number: The entered customer number is automatically added to the contract. This data is optional and can be edited later.
Currency: Here you can select the currency in which the prices are displayed to your customer and in which currency he also pays. Note that this setting cannot be changed later!
Clicking on Add Invitation will generate the link and take you back to the overview page.
In the Invitation column you can see the data you entered. The status (pending, finished, canceled) tells you whether the acceptance is still pending, the connection has been accepted or the link is invalid. The Invited by column tells you who generated the link. In the Link column you will find the generated URL. When you click on the link, it is automatically copied to the clipboard so that you can paste the link into an email, for example. By clicking the trash can icon, the link becomes invalid and can no longer be used.
Using the search you have the possibility to search for customers.
Once a customer has accepted the invitation, the link is automatically invalid. This means that if you want to invite multiple customers, you must create one link per invitation/customer.
Note
In order for your customer to see the desired products including prices, you may need to select a previously uploaded price agreement in the respective customer's contract.
The customer needs a Zaikio account as well as an organization to finally connect with you. A creation of a link remains unaffected. If the customer does not have an account yet, he will be redirected to the corresponding page by clicking on the link.
