With Production you can plan your shopfloor activity.

This article explains how to use the production planning and what informations to find:

Live Production Plan

When opening the Production you find the following information and functions:

  1. History: Check the latest changes.

  2. Edit Production Plan: Edit your current production plan. For further information also see the chapter of the same name.

  3. Zoom/Now: Zoom in/out or go back to the current time.

  4. Date picker: Switch between the days or choose a particular day. You can also scroll to the left/right.

  5. Planned work steps: Your planned work steps for each machine.

Note

When using the iPad app all planned work steps automatically appear in the iPad app, so you have the possibility to track your operating data.

Edit Production Plan

This chapter explains the functions of editing the production plan:

  1. Close: Close the editing mode and return to your current production plan. All changes are saved when you return to the editing mode.

  2. Zoom/now: Zoom in/out or go back to the current time.

  3. Date picker: Switch between the days or choose a particular day. You can also scroll to the left/right.

  4. Commit: Commit on your changes so they go live.

  5. Dependency planning: This mode will automatically place all other work steps of the same job, when you drag a work step onto the plan.

  6. Unscheduled: Shows unscheduled work steps. All smart lists of your organisation are displayed in the dropdown. By clicking on a list's name the work steps are displayed. You can add a work step to your production plan by drag an drop. Mission Control knows, that a work step "offset print" just can be added to an offset machine. This means you can drag a work step to the areas marked in blue.

  7. Work steps/machines: This part shows all your machines and a time line with all your planned work steps.

If you want to learn how to add a work step just follow the link.

Note

At the moment the availability hours can be edited in the MIS (if supported) or via API. An interface for that will follow.
