Explanation of the different states of work steps

This article explains the states a work step can have and where to find the status:

  1. waiting: The work step is not planned, yet (original state).

  2. pending: The work step is planned, but the execution has not yet start.

  3. running: The work step is being processed at the moment.

  4. paused: The execution of the work step is paused.

  5. completed: The execution of the work step is completed.

  6. canceled: The execution of the work step is canceled.

The status is either displayed in your work steps list or when clicking on a particular work step in your production plan.

Note

When a work step is running, the business data can be tracked by using the iPad app.
