How to Export Your Zap Funds Before June 1st

Zap Shutdown Date: June 1, 2026

Zap is fully shutting down on June 1 and all functionality will stop working. Zap will also be removed from the App Store and Google Play Store on June 1. We strongly recommend all users to export their private key and import it into Phantom or another Solana wallet before June 1. All users who have not migrated by June 1 will still be able to safely access their funds via Privy Home.

⚠️ Important: Anyone with access to your private key can fully control your wallet and assets. Keep it secure and never share it with anyone.

Below is a guide on how to export your private key from Zap and import it into Phantom:

1. Open Zap and go to Settings

2. Tap "Export Private Key"

3. Tap the "Sign in to Continue" button

4. Enter the email you use to sign in to your Zap account

5. Enter the code sent to your email

6. Tap the "I Understand - Export My private key" button

7. Tap the large blue "Copy key" button

⚠️ Important: Do not tap the smaller "Copy" button which only copies your wallet address

8. Download the Phantom app, open it, then tap "I Already Have a Wallet"

9. Tap the "Other Import Options" button

10. Tap the "Import Private Key" button

11. Paste the private key you copied from Zap into the "Private key" box, name your wallet, ensure the network is set to "Solana", then tap the "Import" button

Security Reminders

  • Never share your private key with anyone

  • Anyone with this key can steal all assets in your wallet

  • Avoid storing your private key digitally unless it is encrypted and stored securely

  • Keep your written backup in a safe, private location

After June 1

Users who have not exported their private key from Zap by June 1, 2026 must go to Privy Home and sign in with the same email they used for their Zap account in order to access their funds.
