It depends which feed you're looking at.
Around shows people near you using a wider radius while Zeeën grows in your area. If this feed is empty, it's almost always a permissions issue, Zeeën needs Bluetooth and location access to work. Check that both are switched on in your phone's settings, and restart the app after changing them.
Nearby only shows people you've had a direct Bluetooth interaction with, an actual moment of being close to someone using Zeeën. Because Zeeën is still growing, this feed may often be empty or have just a few people in it, that's expected, and it'll fill up as more people in your area use the app.
If both feeds are empty and you're confident your permissions are on, try restarting the app or check Bluetooth is switched on at the phone level, not just the app.
