How to integrate Pipedrive with Zeeg

Zeeg's Pipedrive integration automatically syncs your scheduling activities with your Pipedrive CRM. When meetings are booked through Zeeg, the integration creates or updates contacts in Pipedrive and generates corresponding activities to make sure that your sales pipeline stays up-to-date without manual data entry.

The Pipedrive integration is available with Zeeg Business subscription and above. You need to make sure your Zeeg account is subscribed to the Business plan to access this integration feature.

Prerequisites

Before setting up the Pipedrive integration, make sure you meet the following requirements:

  • You are the owner of your organization on Zeeg

  • You have an active Zeeg Business subscription

  • An active Pipedrive account (either free or paid version)

  • Administrative privileges in your Pipedrive account

How to connect Pipedrive to Zeeg

Setting up the integration between Zeeg and Pipedrive is very simple:

  1. Go to your Zeeg Dashboard

  2. Navigate to Settings, and then to Integrations from the left menu

  3. Select Pipedrive from the available integrations

  4. Click on Connect Pipedrive

  5. You will be redirected to Pipedrive to authenticate the connection

  6. Review the permissions and click Allow and Install

  7. You'll be redirected back to Zeeg, and the integration will be active

Once connected, your Pipedrive integration will automatically begin syncing new Zeeg bookings with your Pipedrive account.

How to disconnect the Pipedrive integration

You can disconnect the integration using either of these methods:

Within Zeeg

  1. Navigate to your Zeeg Dashboard

  2. Go to Integrations

  3. Select Pipedrive

  4. Click Disconnect

Within Pipedrive

  1. Access your Pipedrive account

  2. Go to Pipedrive Marketplace

  3. Navigate to Connected apps

  4. Find the Zeeg app and click Uninstall

The Pipedrive integration behaves as follows:

For Contacts:

  • Pipedrive searches for the invitee's email to either update an existing contact activities or create a new one.

  • If Pipedrive does find a matching contact for the invitee's email, the contact details and linked activity details will be updated.

Contact Ownership:

  • If a new contact is created, and the email of the meeting host matches a Pipedrive user in the same organization, that user will be set as the Contact Owner.

  • However, if the host's email address does not match a Pipedrive user, the Contact Owner will be set to the Organization owner (the one that enabled the integration between Zeeg and Pipedrive).

  • Activities: whenever an invitee schedules a meeting via Zeeg, Pipedrive will automatically generate a new "Meeting" activity entry for the contact. This entry includes several details:

    • Name of the meeting as "Meeting - Zeeg: [Name of the Event]".

    • Event's description: host of the event, attendees, location details, questions and answers.

    • Outcome: Depending on the event's status, can be "Scheduled" or "Cancelled".

    • Owner, or emails of the Host(s).

    • Participants (Attendees): Attendees will be matched (or created) via their email to Pipedrive's Contacts, and then added as participants of the activity.

    • Starting date and Duration.

  • Event updates:

    • When a meeting is cancelled via Zeeg, "[Cancelled] will be added to the meeting name, and the activity outcome will be set to "Cancelled".

    • When a meeting is rescheduled via Zeeg, "[Rescheduled]" will be added to the meeting name of the activity for the original event and its outcome will be set to "Cancelled". A new meeting activity will be created for the newly scheduled event.

    • Modifying the meeting's details directly in Pipedrive won't change the Zeeg event.

Common Issues and Solutions

Experiencing duplicate events on your calendar?

If duplicate events are appearing in your Google or Outlook calendar, it may be because you're using Zeeg's calendar synchronization along with Pipedrive's calendar sync. To resolve this, consider disabling the Pipedrive calendar sync, or set it as a One-way sync (from Pipedrive to your calendar, but not vice versa).

Remember, this might affect all your events in Pipedrive, not only those from Zeeg.
