How to Manage Routing Forms

Qualify leads and direct visitors to the right scheduling page—automatically.

Routing Forms are smart qualification forms that collect information from visitors and use conditional logic to send them to the most relevant scheduling page. Instead of letting visitors choose from all your booking options, you guide them to the right person or team based on their answers—saving time for both sides.

Routing Forms are available on the Business plan and above.

How to create a Routing Form

1. Go to Routing Forms in your Zeeg dashboard and click Create routing form.

2. Enter an internal form name (this is for your reference only and won't be visible to visitors), then click Next.

3. Now you can design your form. Add a headline and description that visitors will see at the top of the form. You can also choose a background color to match your brand.

4. Click + New under Questions to create your first form field. For each question, you can configure:

  • Question label – the text shown to the visitor

  • Field type – such as text, dropdown, or single-select

  • Required – whether the visitor must answer before continuing

5. Set up routing logic: Once your questions are ready, click Routes in the left sidebar.

Each route is built with a When / Route to structure:

  • When – select a question and define a condition (e.g., "Company size" is "Enterprise")

  • Route to – choose where to send the visitor

You can add as many routes as needed to cover all your scenarios.

Always configure a Fallback route. This is the default destination for visitors whose answers don't match any specific rule.

6. Now, choose a route destination. Each route can send visitors to one of three destinations. A Scheduling page directs visitors to a specific Zeeg booking page. A Custom page sends them to a thank-you page or other internal content. A Custom URL redirects them to any external website.

7. Before publishing, review the settings for your form:

  • Email notifications – choose who receives a notification when the form is submitted

  • Submission handling – decide whether visitor answers are included in notification emails

  • Form appearance – adjust colors and styling to fit your brand

8. Once your form is ready, you can share it just like any other Zeeg scheduling page—copy the direct link from the form overview and send it to visitors, embed it on your website, or link to it from a campaign.

How to edit an existing Routing Form

To make changes to a form you've already created:

1. Go to Routing Forms in your dashboard

2. Find the form you want to edit and click on it

3. Make your changes to questions, routes, or settings

4. Save your changes

Changes to routing logic take effect immediately. Test your updated routes before sharing the form with new visitors.

How to view form submissions

All visitor responses are saved and accessible from the Submissions section of each form. Use this to:

  • Review individual visitor answers

  • Track which routes are being triggered most

  • Identify patterns and refine your qualification questions over time

How to delete a Routing Form

To remove a form you no longer need:

1. Go to Routing Forms in your dashboard

2. Click the three dots (⋯) next to the form

3. Select Delete

4. Confirm the deletion

Deleting a form is permanent. Any links you've shared pointing to that form will no longer work. Make sure to update or remove those links before deleting.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the same routing form for multiple scheduling pages?

Yes. A single form can route visitors to multiple different scheduling pages depending on their answers. There's no limit on the number of routes you can create within one form.

What happens if a visitor's answers don't match any route?

They'll be sent to your Fallback destination. Always configure a fallback to make sure no visitor reaches a dead end.

Can I add more questions after publishing a form?

Yes. You can edit your form at any time, including adding new questions and updating routing logic. Changes take effect immediately.

Can I see which route a specific visitor was sent to?

Yes. The Submissions section shows each visitor's answers, and you can see which route their responses matched.

Is there a limit on the number of Routing Forms I can create?

Check your current plan in your account settings for any applicable limits. Contact support if you need more information.
