Intro Box

At the box on top - what we call the "Intro Box" - you'll find some of the most basic information about the project:

  • Basics: The project's title, the client's name, and the client's location

  • Client's average rating - At the end of projects, freelancers review how their experience with the client was on a scale from 1 to 5 stars. Here you'll see the client's average rating and the number of ratings he's received.

  • Posted date - The day the client posted the project

  • Due Date - Clients can optionally include a due date for their projects. When a freelancer submits a proposal they can request a different date if they want to.

  • 'Save Project' button - In the upper-right corner, you'll see an icon that looks like a bookmark. Click that to save this project post for later consideration. These can be found on your "My Projects" page.

  • 'Submit Proposal' button - If this project is of interest to you, click this button to send in your application, (called a "proposal" on ZMZ). For instructions on how to submit a proposal, see this article.

Project Details

Project Description

An in-depth description of the work this project involves.

Budget

How much the client is willing to pay on an hourly rate or for the completion of the project, depending on what payment structure he's using.

Payment Structure

There are two payment structures on ZehMizeh - the "Project-Based" model and the "Hourly" model.

  • Project-Based

    • These projects are for clients who know how much they would like to pay the freelancer for the entire project.

    • In these projects, clients can commit to the entire budget at once, or in stages. Freelancers and clients agree on how much each stage of the project is worth. When a freelancer finishes a piece of the project, (called a "milestone"), the client releases another piece of the budget until it's completely paid.

      • The client is charged whatever amount he commits to by ZMZ before the freelancer starts working. This way, the client can't back out of payment.

  • Hourly

    • Clients can also design a project to use an hourly payment structure, which has no set budget for the completion of the project. In these projects, the freelancer will bill the client as he goes, sending invoices for the hours he's worked, along with the work that's been produced in those hours. The client commits to a specific hourly rate when he hires the freelancer.

Skills

These are the skills the client wants the freelancer to have in order to complete the project.

Preferred Freelancer Location

Where the client prefers the freelancer lives. If you don't live in the region he selected, you can still apply.

Delivery Time

An approximate range of when the client wants the project to be finished.

Expected Hours Required

The client's estimation of how long he thinks the project should take. Being that the clients are usually not experts in the fields they're hiring for, there's a reasonable chance that the client is underestimating how long the project should take - be sure to communicate that at the beginning of the project. (If the client doesn't know how long it will take, or anticipates it will take many weeks or months, they'll select "Ongoing Project" for this field.)

Language

This is the language the client needs the freelancer to speak in order to do the project together.
