Clients can design a project to use an hourly payment structure, which has no set budget for the completion of the project. In these projects, the freelancer will bill the client as he goes, sending invoices for the hours he's worked, along with the work that's been produced in those hours. The client commits to a specific hourly rate when he hires the freelancer.
