A freelancer can easily edit any of the details found on their profile, but they are edited in different ways. Whatever you'd like to change is listed below:

Profile Photo Editor

To edit your profile photo, click the blue edit icon on the bottom-right side of the photo.

Intro Box "Edit" Button

The "Intro Box" is the box of basic information at the top of the profile page. It includes:

  • The freelancer's username

  • Headline

  • Email associated with the account

  • Phone number

  • Hourly Rate (optional)

  • Country and State

  • How frequently the freelancer would like to receive project board emails.

To edit any of these, click the white button labeled "Edit" in the top-right corner of the Intro Box.

Personal Details Editors

The following sections of the profile are edited in the same way:

  • About Me

  • Skill Categories

  • Skills

  • Language

To edit any of these, click the blue pencil icon in the top-right corner of each box.

Education & Courses Box

Freelancers can post what schools they went to and what courses/certifications they've received. Editing or adding to these boxes works in the same way:

  • Add a new credential by clicking the blue "Add" text in the top-right corner of these boxes.

  • To edit one of these credentials, click the blue pencil icon on the relevant item.

  • To delete a credential, click the red trashcan icon on the relevant item.

Edit Payment Details

Changing details in this box is very similar to the previous instructions.

  • To add bank account information, click the blue "Add" text in the top-right corner of the box.

  • To change a bank account to the default account that your payments get sent to, click the three dots found in the top-right corner of each bank account listing. Click the option that reads "Make default."

  • To delete a bank account, click those same three dots in the top-right corner of the listing. Click the option that reads "Delete."
