Supermetrics Connection Guide

To connect Zemanta and Supermetrics, first make sure that your Zemanta User (Account) has Reporting Permission, which allows you to generate reports from Zemanta.

Step 1 - Connector Early Access

Go to the Supermetrics Connectors page and find Zemanta.

Step 2 - Select the destination

Click on “Start free trial”. This will open 4 different options to choose from. Make sure to select “Supermetrics API” and click on “Start Trial”.

Step 3 - Supermetrics Log in

Once you click on “Start Trial”, you will be redirected to Supermetrics Query Manager where you will need to log in with your Supermetrics Account.

Step 4 - Supermetrics API

Once you are logged in and have Query Manager open, click on “For the Supermetrics API”.

Step 5 - Search for Zemanta data source

Once you have selected the Supermetrics API in the Query Manager, you will be able to search for different data sources. In this case, enter “Zemanta” in the search window and select the Zemanta data source.

Step 6 - Register new application

Next, you need to obtain your Client ID and the Client Secret (this will be used in later steps). To obtain the Client ID and Client Secret, head to Zemanta Applications and request a new application.

Next name your application and click on Save.

In the next screen, you will be presented with a Client ID and Client Secret.

Step 7 - Connect to Zemanta

Once you have created the application, you will need to copy your Client ID and Client Secret, which you created in the previous step. Go to Zemanta Applications and copy the Client ID and Secret created previously.

Paste your Client ID and Client Secret into the form.

Once you have copied all the necessary information, click “Start”. Your Zemanta data is now being integrated into Supermetrics.
