Inventory Planning

Inventory Planning is a tool that helps you plan your Zemanta campaigns by showing you the potential reach and cost of your targeting ideas. It allows you to add filters such as locations, publishers, devices, media sources, browsers, connection type and more.

Once you’ve added targeting filters, you’ll get an insight into crucial information, such as your reach, average CPM, CPC and CTR.

To access the Inventory Planner, click on the corresponding tab in the menu located on the left side of your screen.

In the Inventory Plnanner, you’ll see aggregated auction data for the past 30 days. To explore a particular segment simply click "+Add Filter" and check the selected filters, then click "Apply". The filters will appear next to the +Apply filter button. The reach, CPM, CPC, and CTR will all be updated to reflect your choices.

You can also use the tool to check potential reach for a specific Publisher list you've already uploaded on your Zemanta Agency or Account.

To do that, select "Filter by publisher group" in the Publisher filter section, and select the desired publisher list from the dropdown.

We suggest you use Inventory Planning to:

  • see how many impressions are available in a segment that you’re planning to target

  • find out whether your reach is large enough, whether it is geared towards certain locations, or how it is spread out across different devices

  • see what prices you should expect for a specific segment

  • explore new ad group ideas while keeping your budget in mind

  • find the best opportunities to scale your campaign

  • understand potential reach of your campaigns
