Conversion data in the "By Hour of Day" and "By Date & Hour" dimensions is available starting from February 26, 2024. All data in the By Time dimension is reported in the EST timezone.

By time breakdowns and dimensions allow you to better understand trends and behaviour of your campaigns.

You can get insights into the the daily, time of the day, or by hour breakdowns in a consolidated "By Time" tab that is available on each level (All Accounts, Account, Campaign and Ad Group) of your account.

By Date & Hour dimension

You can use the By Date & Hour dimension to check performance and trends during specific hourss of specific dates.

Data shown in the By Date & Hour dimension is available based on your selection in the date picker, until today's date. You are able to view the data in this dimension for past 90 days maximum.

Please note: Data in the By Date & Hour dimension might have some discrepancies compared to the data in the Live tab and charts. This occurs due to separate tracking mechanisms that ensures the promptness of Live data. Live data should only be used for informational purposes and not used for final cost calculations.

By Hour of Day dimension

Hour of day tab sums up metrics for each hour of the day during your selected time range.

This dimension is particularly useful in assessing whether there's a consistent pattern of higher traffic or performance trend during certain periods of the day.

Important:

  • Click time versus conversion time: In the Zemanta dashboard, conversions are attributed to the hour in which the conversion actually occurred (that is, the hour that the tracking tag fired or when we received the conversion event from your server), which is sometimes not in the same hour during which an ad was clicked.

  • Engagement metrics - including Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics - are not available in the By Hour of Day and By Hour & Date dimensions.

  • Time of data reported in our dashboard is dependent on reporting from our supply partners.
