How To Perform A Conflict Check For New Contacts In ZenCase

Overview

Conflict checks can be performed to search through any item in ZenCase for a particular search term, such as a particular name, date, money, or any text description.

You can search up to 6 terms at one time with options to select where you would like to search for these terms in ZenCase.

How To Perform A Conflict Check

  • Click on the "Reports" link from the left navigation bar

  • Click "All" or "Client" tab

  • Under Conflict Check, select "View Report"

  • On the Run Report tab, you can enter up to 6 search terms

  • Fill in a search term on the left side in any of the search term fields

  • On the right side, select your search locations.

  • You can select the "Select All" or "Unselect All" links to help you quickly choose your search location options.

  • Once you have all your options and search terms, click "Run Conflict Check Report"

The report may take a few minutes to search ZenCase and you will receive an email once the report is completed.

View Conflict Check Reports

All conflict checks reports are stored in ZenCase so you can review any past conflict check reports.

  • Click on the "Reports" link from the left navigation bar

  • Click "All" or "Client" tab

  • Under Conflict Check, select "View Report"

  • Click on the "History" tab

  • You can see all the history for each report, such as the date the report was run, the firm member who ran the report, search terms, search locations, and a link to the conflict check report.

You have successfully run a conflict check report and have the ability to view existing reports.
