Overview

A task blueprint is a collection of tasks which can be used as a blueprint for importing tasks into a specific matter. To learn more about how to create a task blueprint, read the article:

Task blueprints are a quick and easy way to populate your matter with common tasks. Once you have some task blueprints available, you can easily add them to any matter.

How To Add A Task Blueprint To A Matter

  • From the left navigation bar, click the "Matters" link

  • On the Matters list page, click on the matter name under the "Matter Name" column to view a specific matter.

  • On the matter details page, you will see a set of menu options in the top right of the page.

  • Click "Import/Export".

  • Click "Import Task Blueprint".

  • In the pop up window, search by task blueprint name in the search bar if necessary.

  • Click "Select" next to the name of the task blueprint.

  • You will see a list of the available tasks in the task blueprint collection.

  • Select the tasks you want to import into the matter.

  • Select a Start Date in which to set the start date for all tasks.

  • Click "Import Tasks"

Congratulations! You have now imported task blueprints into a specific matter. On the matter page, the tasks should be available on the "Tasks" tab.
