Overview
ZenCase allows you to create custom LEDES billing format templates which can be configured at the client, matter, and invoice levels in which to generate LEDES invoices with the corresponding template.
How To Setup Custom LEDES Template For Matters
You can setup a custom LEDES billing template to be default for matters with LEDES enabled.
Go to the Matters list page by clicking on "Matters" in the left navigation bar.
On the Matters list page, click on a name of the matter in the "Matter Name" column.
You should be redirected to the Matter's page.
In the top header bar, in the Ledes tab, you will see the LEDES information.
Next to the LEDES Enabled field, click the pencil "Edit" icon that appears.
In the pop up, select "Yes" in the dropdown to enable LEDES.
Enter a LEDES Client/Matter ID.
Click "Save".
Once you have LEDES enabled, you will see more options appear.
Next to the LEDES File Template field, click the pencil "Edit" icon that appears.
Select in the "LEDES File Template" dropdown your custom LEDES billing template.
Click "Save".
Congratulations! You have successfully configured a custom LEDES billing template as the default template for your matter.
When creating new pre-bills with LEDES enabled, the matter's LEDES File Template will default for the pre-bill. You can override the pre-bill custom LEDES file template setting on the pre-bill's edit page.
