Use Document Intelligence

Written by Eloy Wijlhuizen

Document Intelligence brings together an AI-generated summary, suggested document details, and linked legal sources. Use it to help decide what to read closely, then check its suggestions against the original document.

Open Document Intelligence

  1. Open the document from Files in its Project.

  2. Open More file options.

  3. Select Document intelligence when it is available.

The panel is labelled Beta.

Review the Summary and Details

Summary gives an AI-generated overview of the document. About this document contains suggested details such as its category, type, and purpose.

Check the summary and suggested details against the original. Read the relevant passages before relying on the overview.

Check Cited Sources

Cited sources shows linked legal sources found in the document, when available.

If no linked sources are shown, the panel reports that none were found. This does not establish that the document contains no citations. Check the original document for the sources you need.

For help opening a document, see Find Files and View Earlier Versions.
