The Templates tab is one of the core features of ZevBit, especially useful for contractors, landscapers, and construction professionals.
The Templates are the line items that allow your team to create, manage, and reuse them in an estimate. Templates save time by storing commonly used estimate structures so they can be quickly applied to future projects.

Create custom estimate templates
Use pre-built templates from the marketplace
Organize templates into folders
Accessing the Templates Tab
Go to Settings from the left menu and click on the Templates tab
Templates Page Overview
When the user navigates to the Templates tab, they will land on the My Templates folder by default. This means the My Templates folder is pre-selected.
Top Options
New Folder Button → Create folders to organize templates
Search Bar → Search templates or folders
Create New Template Button → Create a custom estimate template
Delete Button → Bulk delete selected templates

Default selected folder
Contains:
Templates created by the user
Templates saved from the marketplace
Subfolders
Creating a Folder
Click New Folder
Enter folder name
Folder appears under My Templates

2. Zevbit Marketplace
This section contains pre-built estimate templates provided by Zevbit.
How It Works
When the user clicks on Zevbit Marketplace, it expands into subfolders
These subfolders are categorized by industries or job types, such as:
Concrete
Landscaping
Hardscaping
Demo & Grading
Fence & Deck
Inside Subfolders
Each subfolder contains ready-made estimate templates
These templates include the calculation of:
Materials
Labor
Equipment
subcontractor
These are designed to match real-world contractor jobs.
Using Marketplace Templates
To use a template:
Go to Zevbit Marketplace
Open a subfolder
Click Select on one or more templates you require
Click Save Selected Templates
Confirm → Save to My Account
Result
The template is added to the My Templates folder
It can now be edited, used, or moved
Marketplace Update Feature
Inside Zevbit Marketplace, there are two tabs:
1. New (Default)
Shows all available templates
2. Update
Shows templates already saved in your account that have updates
Each template will have:
Update → Apply the latest version added by ZevBit in the system
Create New Copy → Keep your current template as is, and include this version as an additional template.
Discard → Ignore update
Managing Templates (My Templates)
The template list will have the following columns
Template Name
Status
Last Used Date
Actions (three dots)
Each template also includes a checkbox, allowing bulk selection and deletion.
Each template has an Action menu with:

Edit template name
Add description
Add/update image (It will be visible in the line item when writing an estimate)
Move To
Move the template to another folder
Create Copy
Duplicate the template
Delete
Remove the template
Bulk Delete
Select multiple templates using checkboxes
Click the Delete icon to remove them together
Creating a New Estimate Template
Click "Create New Template"
Enter template name
Click Next
Build the estimate template
