How to configure Base Feature

Covers base-related setup and pricing inputs.

The Base tab is where you enter base preparation details for a line item. The values here drive the calculated materials and costs for the base scope.

Use this when the estimate includes base preparation or related work.


Steps

  1. Open the estimate and click into the line item you want to configure

  2. Click the Base tab

  3. Enter the Type of Access

  4. Select the Type of Base

  5. Enter the Base Depth in inches

  6. Review the calculated preparation materials and costs before continuing

Note: Each selection in the Base tab automatically adjusts the material quantities and labor hours for this line item. For example, changing the type of base or depth will update the calculated preparation materials and associated labor costs accordingly.
