Correcting the Timesheet Entry
Worker “Craig” clocked in only once but worked on two separate projects in one day, with a lunch/travel break in between.
1. Click "Timesheets"
2. Select the date you wish to modify. For instance, if you need to access a few days back, March 18th, simply click the left arrow in the date navigation to go back.
3. To modify a worker's timesheet entry, select the three-dot menu located on the right side of that entry.
4. Click "Edit"
5. This worker clocked in and started on one project. Then, after lunch, he drove 15 minutes to another job site and worked there until he finished his shift. It looks like the system is only showing the end-of-shift time for that first project.
6. First thing to do is modify the time end for this project he took his lunch first, so in this scenario the time end is right after his lunch time at 1:30 pm
7. This step is optional. Because this company compensates Craig for the travel time between projects, he needs to clock in to a project to account for that time. To track the 15-minute drive, he must clock in using the default "company/shop tasks project" that every user is assigned.
8. Find the proper project
9. Click "Company/Shop Tasks"
10. Click "Next"
11. Place the travel time between projects
12. Next, include the second project that occupied Craig's afternoon time.
13. Select the second project
14. Click "Next"
15. Add the worked time for that project
16. You have the option to include a note explaining why the timesheet entry was modified.
17. Click "Save"
18. The timesheet entry was successfully modified. Notice that the "Project" column now displays three customers, indicating where the worker has allocated time.
