Time Tracking User Interface

Written by ZevBit Software

The initial view upon logging into the ZevBit app is the Time Tracking screen.

Clock-In/Clock-Out Functionality

The top section is dedicated to core time recording:

  • The current time is prominently displayed.

  • A Clock-In button is located directly below the time display, used to initiate the tracking of work hours.

Scheduled Projects List

Below the Clock-In button, users will find a list of their scheduled projects. This list, will vary in length based on the number of current assignments.

  • Assignment Indicator: A green icon adjacent to a project name signifies that the project has been officially assigned to the user's account.

Default and Searchable Projects

  • Default Project: Immediately below the assigned projects list, the default project "Company/Shop Tasks" is displayed.

  • Project Search Functionality: At the bottom of the screen, a search option allows users to locate projects that are not currently scheduled but may be accessible to them.

    • Access Restriction: This search feature is contingent upon user settings. If a user's permissions restrict them to only clocking into scheduled projects, the search function will not return any results, regardless of project existence.

Navigation Bar Options

At the bottom of the screen, a persistent navigation bar provides access to key functions:

  1. Home: This tab returns the user to the main Time Tracking screen.

  2. Start Break: This option initiates tracking for a break period.

  3. Camera: Allows the user to take a picture and save the photo as an attachment to the current time entry or project.

  4. Timesheets: Navigates the user to the Timesheets feature, where recorded time can be reviewed and managed.
