Project Photos & Files Screen

Written by ZevBit Software

If you tap over the "All Photos/Files" section, the following screen is displayed, organizing all media and documents associated with the active project:

  • Default Folders: The screen initially presents three system-defined folders:

    • Receipts

    • Estimate/Sale

    • Design

Note: Master Admin has the ability to customize these default folders within the ZevBit app's General Settings.

  • Filter Options: A filter option is available to help users quickly locate specific files. Users can filter results based on:

    • File type (e.g., photo, document, video).

    • The team member who uploaded the file.

  • File Addition Menu: A conspicuous Plus (+) icon is located at the bottom right of the screen. Tapping this icon expands a menu of actions allowing the user to add new content:

    • Take a new photo.

    • Upload an existing photo or video from the device's gallery.

    • Upload a file document (e.g., PDF, spreadsheet).

    • Create a new custom folder within the project.

View Options

In addition to filtering, users can toggle between two primary views for the file list:

  • List View: Displays files and folders in a traditional list format, often showing file names, upload dates, and sizes.

  • Icon/Grid View: Displays files, especially photos and videos, as larger thumbnails or icons for a more visual browsing experience.

Select All Option

Next to the Filter option, you will find the "Select All" option allowing you to select multiple folders at the same time to download their content.

Files Uploaded Without a Folder

If any user uploads a file or photo without selecting one of the existing folders (Receipts, Estimate/Sale, Design, or custom folders), the file will appear outside of the folders at the main level of the Project Photos & Files Screen.

  • Post-Upload Organization: Once uploaded, the user has the ability to move the file to any of the existing folders for better organization.
