How to Share a Proposal and How Clients View, Sign, and Approve It

Once your proposal is ready, you can share it with the client by email or link. After receiving it, the client can open the proposal, review the project details, sign it, and approve it.

Steps

  • Open the proposal landing page and stay on it to get ready to share with the client

Click Send Document in the top-right corner to open the sharing options

Choose how to share the proposal from the available options:

  • Send Via Email — email the proposal directly to the client through ZevBit

  • Copy Shareable Link — copy the proposal link and send it manually by text, chat, or another method

  • Send Link To My Email — receive the link in your own inbox

  • Mark As Approved — manually mark the proposal as approved if needed

The client receives the proposal, opens the email or link, and clicks View Proposal

The client reviews the proposal details including:

  • Project details

  • Pricing

  • Payment terms

  • Optional items

  • Terms and conditions

  • Next steps

When ready, the client signs the proposal by typing or drawing their signature

After signing, the proposal is approved, ZevBit automatically creates the invoice(s) based on the payment terms set in the proposal. This helps keep billing organized by linking the approved estimate to the invoicing section, where you can track due dates, balances, payment status, and paid or unpaid invoices.
