How to Add About Us and Past Projects to a Proposal

The About Us and Past Projects sections appear on the proposal and help present your company professionally to the client. You can customize the text, header, and photos for each section.


Editing the About Us Section

  1. Open the proposal and click Settings on the left side panel

  2. Under Overall, toggle About Us on

  3. Click the pencil icon next to About Us to open the edit panel

  4. Enter a Header — for example: "Thank you for considering {{COMPANY_NAME}}!" — the system will automatically replace {{COMPANY_NAME}} with your company name

  5. Enter your company description in the About Us text area (up to 1000 characters)

  6. Upload a company photo by clicking Click to upload or dragging an image file (max 5MB)

  7. Choose to Save For This Estimate to apply to this proposal only, or Save For This Template to apply to all future proposals using this template

Editing the Past Projects Section

  1. Click the pencil icon next to Past Projects to open the edit panel

  2. Enter a Header — for example: "Check out some of our recent projects!"

  3. Enter supporting text in the Text area — use {{COMPANY_NAME}} to auto-fill your company name

  4. Upload up to 4 project photos by clicking Click to upload or dragging images

  5. Choose to Save For This Estimate or Save For This Template
