Editing Permission
Administrators can enable the permission Allow User To Edit Their TimeSheet in the employee’s Time Tracking settings.
When this permission is enabled, the employee can modify their recorded clock-in/out time.
If the permission is disabled, the employee will not be able to edit their clock-out time.
Foreman Permissions for Editing Team Time
In addition to editing their own clock time, a Foreman may be granted permission to edit their crew members’ timesheets.
This allows the Foreman to help correct time entries for their team if a crew member forgets to clock out or if an adjustment needs to be made to reflect the actual work schedule.
The ability to edit team timesheets depends on the permissions configured for the Foreman’s role.
Editing Time for the Current Day
Time entries for the current day cannot be edited while the day is still active.
If a time entry needs to be adjusted for today, the edit must be performed on a later day after the workday has ended.
This ensures that time tracking data for the current day remains consistent while employees are still actively recording work sessions.
Once the day has passed, authorized users can update the timesheet to correct the clock-out time if necessary.
