The very first thing to do before you start selling on eBay is to make sure you are registered with the website and have a selling account. A seller account gives you access to all the tools you will need to begin listing items and start making sales.

Follow the steps below to create your brand-new seller account.

Go to eBay.com and click on the register button in the top left corner.

Enter your information on the Create an account page. Make sure the Personal account radio button is activated. If you already have a registered business and want to make a store for that business then you can check the Business account radio button instead.

Enter your First name, Last name, and Email, and create a strong Password for your account. You can also register with a Google, Facebook, or Apple account instead. Once you are done click on the Create account button.

You will be redirected back to the eBay main page. Now, it’s time to connect your bank account to eBay. This account will be used to make purchases on the website and also withdraw money once you start making sales.

In the top left corner, you will see the Hi [your name]! drop-down. Click on the drop-down menu and choose the Account settings option.

Under the Personal Info heading click on the Personal information button.

On the Personal info page, fill in any details that you haven’t completed yet. Next click on the Payments option under the Payment Information heading on the left pane.

Click on the Add credit or debit card option to connect your payment card with the website. You can also directly connect your bank account by clicking on the Add payment option button under the Payment options tab.

eBay does not support every bank account from every country so many international sellers use other third-party services like Revolut, PayPal, and Payoneer as their primary payment options for eBay.

Payoneer is available in over 150 countries and is a solid and reliable financial partner if you want to start an eBay store. To begin using the Payoneer services, go to Payoneer.com and create an account.

Depending on your location and requirements, you might have to go through different steps to create your Payoneer account. Once you have created an account and connected your local bank account to Payoneer you are ready to proceed.

It is important to note that you will only be able to connect your Payoneer account to eBay once you receive an email from eBay stating that you are authorized to connect your account. Once you get the email, you can click on the link in the email to register or go to the eBay Seller Hub -> Payments tab and Register now.

Read the steps and then click on Get started.

Click on Yes, keep this as an individual account then click Continue.

Next, you will see the question “Do you have an existing Payoneer account for this person?”. Click on Yes, sign in and a pop-up will appear. Sign in to your Payoneer account here.

Read the details and then click on the Continue button.

Add your card details if you haven’t already. After adding the details, click the Continue button.

Finally, click on the Submit request button.

eBay will inform you once the process is completed and your account is connected.

Congratulations! You have successfully connected your Payoneer account to eBay.
