This guide focuses on optimizing your Competitor Research Settings in ZIK Analytics to maximize its potential. For a quick tutorial, check out our prepared video!

Quick Settings

Quick Settings provides instant access to the fundamental settings that are most frequently modified. ZIK Analytics will automatically adjust all other settings based on the location selected, minimizing the need for manual configuration. To achieve this, in the left sidebar menu, and click on the Quick Settings icon.

The Quick Settings window pane appears on the left. Under Marketplace, choose which eBay marketplace you are selling on, and the rest of the settings will be automatically configured. (US, UK, DE, FR, CA, AU, IT, ES, or MY).

However, if you are shipping from a different location, select your from the list of locations your items will be shipped from:

Select the supplier you are sourcing your products from in the Source Website:

Once done, click the Apply Changes button.

Advanced Settings

The Quick Settings method is ideal if you want to buy and sell in the same location. However, if you have a complex business, you may need to adjust your settings more precisely. To access the Advanced Settings, click on the Advanced Settings button while still in the Quick Settings window.

Alternatively, you can adjust your settings on the Management Panel > Advance Settings.

You will be redirected to the Advance Settings window.

Proceed to the Competitor Settings tab to find all the settings for the Competitor Research feature.

Adjust each of the settings discussed below according to your requirements. Some of the fields are optional.

Marketplace: Choose the country where you will be selling. For instance, if you are selling on ebay.co.uk then choose the United Kingdom.

Shipping Location: Select the country from which you and your competitors will source products. For e.g., if you are shipping from Alibaba then you can choose China.

Seller currency: Set the currency you will use to buy/sell items.

Optional Filters:

Sales Date Range: Choose the number of days for which you want to see analytics of your competitors. For example, choose 14 days if you want to see analytics for the last 14 days like their total sales, earnings, and items sold in that time period.

Period Sales: Set a minimum and/or maximum sales that a competitor has made during the period specified by the Competitor range. This is useful when you want to filter out competitors based on the number of sales they have made. The competitors will be hidden if their period sales don’t fall in the min/max range.

Total Sales: Set the minimum and/or maximum sales that a competitor has made in total. This is not affected by the Competitor range and includes all the sales the competitor has ever made. The competitors will be hidden if their total sales don’t fall in the min/max range.

Current Price: Set the minimum and/or maximum price for a product you searched for.

After everything is set with the adjusting filters and preferences, click the Save button.
